Campbell, CA, Residents ONLY, Please ~ Petition to Deny Las Vegas-Style Nightclub in Downtown Campbe

This petition urges the Campbell City Council to deny a conditional use permit for a Las Vegas-style ultra lounge/restaurant in the 4-block historic downtown Campbell core. The ultra lounge would have between 250 to 500 people, be open until 2am with live entertainment, and have no additional parking.  Show your support for (a) the City staff who advised against the project, (b) community and downtown residents who oppose the project, (c) downtown business owners and the Campbell Police Department who have expressed serious reservations about the project, and (d) the Campbell Planning Commission who unanimously denied the project based on its being in direct conflict with the City's General Plan, Downtown Development Plan, and Downtown Alcohol Beverage Policy.  This project is incompatible with the city’s master plan for Downtown Campbell as a safe, vibrant and balanced mixed use residential and business district.
