Animal Cruelty: Benjamin Stavaas
To mandate and prosecute the maximum penalty to any and all individual/s whom abuses or causes Animal Cruelty/Animal Abuse
To prosecute to the full maximum penalty of such Horace crimes.
Benjamin James Stavaas is on probation from a 2006 Wadena County conviction of terroristic threat and domestic assault and has show a pass and present history of violence.
Benjamin James Stavaas is Currently on probation and has fled. An arrest warrant has been issued for Benjamin James Stavaas after he failed to appear in court on Animal Cruelty charges.
Benjamin James Stavaas is now facing a warrant for his arrest on top of 6 criminal charges which now include animal torture and cruelty.
On or about June 15th 2010 Benjamin James Stavaas slashed his dog's neck after he flew into a fit of rage. Left his dog for dead.
Benjamin James Stavaas became enraged and used a knife to brutally slash her throat.
He is currently being charged with two felonies, two gross misdemeanors and two misdemeanors related torturing and mistreating his dog, Star, German Shepherd mix.
Note: He is a danger to our society.
The individual did not show up in court.
Please increase the maximum penalty in Animal Cruelty.
