One of the worst crimes in america right now is drugs and automobile break-ins to fund the habit of consumption of drugs. This not only leaves victims without the secure feeling of their possessions being there when they return, but the thieves who think nothing about the victims, just their own selfish fix, not only support the illicit drug trade, but the ongoing oppression of America's Underclass, support terrorism, and domestic violence.
Facebook has groups on its platform where individuals can buy and sell merchandise, unfortunately there is no actual way to know if what your buying is legitimate, not stolen, or the proceeds are not going to support drug habits. In addition the individuals selling goods are likely not reporting this revenue as sales tax, or income tax. Individuals whom are participating in this practice should be turned over to local or state governments for tax audit. The service for selling and buying on Facebook should be suspended, and completely restated with a registration process, including a buyer dispute process, ratings system for sellers and buyers and a real registration system with photo id and criminal background check, if you have a drug conviction or theft from car, you should be bared from the service permanently.
Some fo the things that look suspicious; small electronics, speakers, things that could be in a center console of a car, fake silver engagement rings with diamonds for $25 (fake love deserves a fake ring - right?) Individuals should be handed ove to tax authorities.
