"A Spalding County man is accused of driving to a neighbor's house and shooting a German Shepherd twice, saying "maybe that will shut him up now," authorities said.
"Allen Cossitt Glover, 41, of Brooks, faces three charges, including a felony, after the May 9 incident, according to a Spalding County Sheriff's Office incident report. The dog required surgery but survived the incident," according to a local news source.
What kind of human being could shoot an animal? Twice?
There is no excuse for that kind of cruelty.
And Glover should face serious consequences.
No matter what happens in his case, the day will come when he is back on the streets.
And there would be nothing to stop him from harming another animals.
Someone like this must NEVER be allowed around animals again.
