Help for Adult Drug Users

There is no legislation available to force drug users who are over 18 into a detox and drug rehabilitation facility. Most of these adults will end up in jail or dead in the gutter. Most of them do not know they have a problem. They are a burden to their families and the public health system. A long time ago families could put their adult children in these facilities but the legislation was changed due to some people forcing their charges into rehab for their own advantage. A small handful of these people have put thousands of lives in jeopardy. Most prisons are full of offenders who were under the influence of ice or heroin or some other addictive drug, when they committed theses offences. There must be some recourse for change.
