The call for a legitimate professional audit of the accounting of the books

I recently resigned from the board when the financial statements of the treasurer are being called an internal audit. That is not an audit, the treasurer cannot perform their own audit of their own accounting. Because there are only two members left to sit in on an audit, that being the treasurer and the president, An audit needs to be done once a year, the board has not provided that audit. A majority vote of residents can get this done.
