When will state wildlife agencies represent the non-killing public?

Wildlife commissions in all 50 states are overwhelmingly dominated by exploiters and killers of wildlife, not those interested in genuine conservation and preservation of wildlife species. Appointments to these commissioner positions are usually political rewards from governors, often with zero oversight or review by state legislators.

In the same way that 1960s 'one person/one vote' rules required proportional representation in state legislatures of urban voters, we need proportional representation of the non-wildlife killing population in each state on state wildlife commissions if wildlife is ever to receive a fair shake in policy making.

Killing wildlife is not conservation, yet that singular value continues to harm our wildlife. . .wildlife held in the public trust from a legal standpoint.

We need Federal action from Congress to require that each state adequately represents their non-wildlife killing citizens; this objective can be accomplished by appointing a majority of wildlife commissioners from the majority who don't buy wildlife killing licenses and don't believe wildlife should be indiscriminately killed for amusement and trophies.
