HM Queen should attent VE 70th Anniversary Commemorations

HM The Queen should attend the 70th Anniversary commemorations of VE Day on May 8, 2015 irrespective of political concerns surrounding the General Election on May 7 and the possibility of a Hung Parliament.

The Queen is Head of State, served in the UK Forces during WWII and is a living link, together with all the surviving veterans and civilians , of that momentoous occasion; Those of her generation and their children, grandchildren and grate grandchildren would expect her to be an active participant in the commemorations.
