Demand a Wind Energy Ordinance that Better Represents Iowa County Residents!

We, the undersigned, respectfully request a wind energy ordinance in Iowa County to protect the public's health, safety, and welfare through the following changes to the draft of Ordinance 32:

1. A minimum setback distance of 1/2 mile from non-participants' residences to the center of the turbine.
2. A noise limit of 40 dBA at non-participating property lines.
3. A minimum setback distance of 2 miles from the center of the turbine to all incorporated towns' city limits.
4. A minimum setback distance of 1 mile from the center of the turbine to active bald eagle nests and bat habitats. 
5. Equal protection of the English and Iowa Rivers of 3 miles from center of turbine to the edge of the river.
