Say no to Qure!

GPs - protect your profession! Sign this petition. There's a fairly new doctor-on-demand app called ‘Qure’ or www.getqure.com, which allows the general public to book a home visit with a ‘highly experienced doctor’. It's not all that meets the eye! Worryingly and misleadingly the ‘expert’ a patient sees can be a junior doctor with as little as three years experience in a specialist area, such as gynaecology. I, and many other hard-working, professional GPs have grave concerns to the direction and precedent this company is setting by blurring the lines of what constitutes a highly experienced doctor versus an appropriately qualified General Medical Council (GMC) registered GP. Sign this petition if you'd like to see Qure, and any other private companies stop undermining GPs in this way.
