Make Animal Abuse/Cruelty a Felony in All 50 States & Make a National Registry for the Offenders
Animal abuse/cruelty is a serious issue that has been ignored for far too long. Animals have rights. These offenders need to be held accountable for their actions & have the maximum penalty imposed for these crimes. It has been proven that animal abuse leads to abuse & killing of humans. Animal abuse/cruelty includes animal (i.e. dog) fighting, starvation of animals, neglect of animals, intentional harm of animals, animal testing, animals in the circus, unethical forms of euthanization, & so forth. It is time that the President, Congress, the governement, & the people of the United States recognize this & take action.
We the people of the United States of America, ask that you take action against the people that abuse the animals of this country. Animal abuse/cruelty needs to be made a felony in all 50 states & the maximum penalty needs to be imposed for the offenders. As sex offenders have a registry, so do the people that abuse animals. Animals have rights & it is time that we take a stand against animal cruelty.
It is proven that a person who is violent towards an animal, is also violent towards humans. Killers such as Ted Bundy, David Berkowitz, & Jeffrey Dahmer were proven to have tortured & killed animals during their childhood.
Animals have rights & their rights need to be exercised & protected. We need the government of the United States to take action before these crimes continue.
