Bus service on Knap street

The residents for Marine Park ,Gerritsen Beach and Sheapshead Bay do not have bus service ,at all along the entire stretch of Knap st. We would like to have bus service provide by the MTA as soon as possible. Why are there buses running up and down Knap st without providing service to the public???
