Due to the neglected marina, the water lease on 5908 Marine drive in West Vancouver (which includes west van marina, RRYS's Slip and the gas station) has been pulled by the city of west vancouver. This means that at the end of september when the lease is up, everything on the water lease has to be removed. (The gas dock, the lift slip and the docks & boats left in the marina.)
We the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge the city/province to act now to allow the gas station and RRYS to continue to operate normally while the lease is not active. Or at least allow RRYS to keep the slip and Bruce Falkins to keep his gas barge where they currently are untill new ownership of the water lease is determined.

The city of west van has achknologed how importance of these business to the area and have given Joe the oppentuinity to make or break it.
He has 6 months to fix his marina, is he suceeds in doing this the entire water lease will go back to him.
If he fails, the lease will be divided. We will get our own portion, race rocks their own and what remains will go to WVYC .
The city has also upgraded the 1 year to a 10 year lease!

The city is now and will continue to be willing to enter an agreement with our landlord to offer us a separate water lease agreement!
Unfortuinatly our landlord refuses to divide the water lease and uses the petition as levrage to keep his marina ..
At this point this petition is to override his say and allow us to enter that agreement to have a seperate water lease.
