Annually, over 500,000 human deaths are caused due to smoking related activity. It has been so for years. We KNOW, scientifically, what all the variables of smoke inhalation are and what second hand smoke can cause on the human body.

So why perform tests on animals and smoking? Why spend all that money? To prove what? Animals do not smoke of their own accord, so to what end do we conduct these experiments? Would not all that time and money be better spent doing more useful science?

Not to mention the suffering and pointless misery the animals are put through.
