Over a million signatures were collected in California for a GMO labeling ballot initiative. California is the 8th largest economy in the world. RIGHT TO KNOW
We have a right to know what is in our food, a right that the citizens of 50 other countries enjoy, including all of the European Union, China, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand. We should have the ability to choose whether or not to feed GMOs to our families. Without labeling, this choice is not ours to make. Polls conducted by professional news organizations, including the Washington Post and MSNBC, have consistently shown that over 90% of American consumers want GMOs labeled.
