We are now hitting the two and a half years mark. There has been no trial, no sentencing and no word from the lawyers. We've served this entire time in limbo.
Mr Thomas is the heart of his family. He's a young man with his entire future before him. Mr Thomas has done much in the way of growing up over the last two years. He's poured over research in how to better the environment and lives of those around him. Mr Thomas fully understands the damage his actions have brought to those who love and care for him.
Mr Thomas can be an important, productive member of his community. He only needs to be given an opportunity to do so.
We, the undersigned do NOT feel Nathan Karl Thomas is a threat to our community. We ask the honorable Judge, Susan O. Hickey of the Western District of Arkansas, to consider leniency in the sentensing of Nathan Karl Thomas. In light of his nonexistent prior record and the personal strides Mr Thomas continues to make.
