Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Jr. has canceled almost half a BIlLLION dollars in contracts to develop mRNA vaccines and protect the American people against future viral threats.
It's a senseless, wildly counterproductive move that has horrified scientists and delighted the idiots who run anti-vax groups. "This may be the most dangerous public health judgment that I've seen in my 50 years in this business. It is baseless, and we will pay a tremendous price in terms of illnesses and deaths. I'm extremely worried about it," says Michael Osterholm, who runs the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.
We've already invested countless public dollars into this research, and to throw it all away on the whims of a brain worm-addled drug addict conspiracy theorist like RFK Jr. is just so far beyond any conception of responsible governance or basic common sense.
