Let My Chickens Free Range

I free range my chickens. I live in the country and have nothing but pasture around me and across the road. I have a rooster and 2 hens that like to go look for bugs across the road. Animal control was called out cause my chickens crossed the road which is still my property, and seeing my other chickens in my yard free ranging the AC officer said I can not allow my chicken out in my yard. I sell pasture raised, cage free eggs. So this is going to interfere with my lively hood. I offered to re-home the offending chickens and the AC was not interested. I have a court case March 20th .Please help me keep my birds out of JAIL.
