Say NO to biomass power stations

We should be focussing on developing alternative energy sources for our homes and businesses, not agreeing to utility companies burning biomass and releasing more greenhouse gases and particulates into the atmosphere. If we speak with one voice and act to stop these corporations from making more money out of us while continuing to poison us, we can make a difference to our own future, that of our children and to the planet we call home.
We the undersigned petition you to invest your profits in sustainable and environmentally friendly power generation and not in biomass power, which is neither sustainable nor clean. We do not want more greenhouse gases and particulates emitted into the atmosphere, which will only add to the burden of pollution, causing more illness to ourselves and damage to the planet.
Please consider the effects your actions have on us, your customers, and act responsibly to improve the environment and our quality of life.
