A cat is dead, and several others were found in horrible health in the
same home in Lexington.
How could something like this happen to innocent animals? Pets deserve care and love, not cruelty and neglect.
The man living in the home was arrested, and is now facing multiple animal cruelty charges, including multiple counts of
cruelty to animals, abandonment of animals, failing to vaccinate, and hoarding of animals. The count came to a whopping 27 charges.But a person who
allows a cat to die and multiple others to suffer so greatly should not be allowed to continue owning other animals in the future. This man should also get access to mental health support -- this type of animal treatment is not normal, and needs to be addressed.
