LUNA BAR: Please Remove Palm Oil from your List of Ingredients

Please stop sourcing unsustainable palm oil to make your luna bars.

Palm oil is utilized in many of your food products. When a company buys ‘unsustainable’ palm oil they are:

• supporting the logging and destruction of some of the world’s most ecologically important rainforests;

• promoting illegal forest fires that significantly contribute to climate change;

• and destroying the last remaining habitat for many endangered species, including the orangutan which is currently facing extinction.

  Please, orangutans are on the very edge of extinction. Please take responsibility.  Replace palm oil with sustainable alternatives when possible.  Also, buy only certified sustainable palm oil that protects forests, preserves livelihoods, and safeguards wildlife.
