Mrs. Brenita Johnson has been serving the people of Stratford Place as our mail carrier for 12 years. Her customers are deeply concerned about her being transferred to another route and request that she stay on her current route, which includes the Stratford Place neighborhood. She is so efficient at this route because of her 12 years of knowledge delivering here. Mrs. Johnson delivers in a timely, professional manner taking great care of all packages and parcels. The residents believe a new carrier will never fill her level of dedication to her customers. We fear the problems we have encountered with some substitute carriers in the past will be the new normal way of delivery. Neighbors have had mail in the wrong boxes, packages missing, or not showing up on time, and mail stolen when Cooky has taken personal leave or on the days she is not scheduled to work. She is like a family member to the residents of Stratford Place as she has been a staple in our community for years and touched the hearts of so many by going above and beyond in her position. We feel this change is unnecessary when the people are so pleased with the level of service she is providing. She takes very seriously how she represents the USPS with her professionalism, loyalty to her position, and the way she serves her community.
