STOP THE KILLING OF THE CATS OF LA MERCED NEIGHBORHOOD NOW

We have been trying to sterilize and vaccinate cats that live near La Merced Park in Hato Rey ,Puerto Rico. They are feral cats that lives in the streets of the neighborhood and come to eat at the park. Some people that live there and in the Condominium Mirador del Parque dont like them and are poisoning them. Also threatening people who feed them. They dont want us to set water and food stations, neither to take care of them to control the cat population. We had a meeting there and was established that we were going to conduct a TNR and to set 3 to 4 water and food stations. Now they asked us to move the stations  and even poison another cat recently!  Killing animals is a crime not a solution !
