Tell Sen. Schumer: Name D.C.'s Sewage Treatment Plant After Trump Instead

President Trump is at it again. His administration went directly to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer with an offer: support renaming Washington-Dulles International Airport AND New York's Penn Station after Donald Trump, and he'll finally release funding for the Gateway Tunnel Project — the most critical infrastructure project in America.

That's right. Two hundred thousand daily commuters riding through crumbling, Hurricane Sandy-damaged tunnels have to wait because the President wants his name on buildings like a golden retriever wants its scent on fire hydrants.

We think Senator Schumer should make a counter-offer.
Washington, D.C. is home to the Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant — the largest facility of its kind in the world. It processes over 300 million gallons per day. It serves the entire D.C. metropolitan area. And frankly, given the sheer volume of what flows through it on a daily basis, we can think of no facility in America more fitting for the Trump name.

We're calling on Senator Schumer to introduce a counter-proposal: rename the Blue Plains Wastewater Treatment Plant the "Donald J. Trump Sewage Processing Facility."

Think about it. It's a perfect match:
A massive operation that takes in an endless stream of raw material nobody wants to deal with, attempts to filter out the toxic parts, and pumps what's left into the Potomac. If that's not branding synergy, we don't know what is.

Plus, unlike Penn Station and Dulles Airport, nobody's going to fight him for it. There's no "George Washington Sewage Legacy" to compete with. The naming rights are wide open. It's actually a layup.
And let's not forget — this facility genuinely serves millions of people every single day, which is more than we can say for most things with Trump's name on them.

Senator Schumer, we urge you to reject the President's quid pro quo, demand the immediate and unconditional release of Gateway Tunnel funding, and respond with the only counteroffer this situation deserves.

Some legacies are built. Others are flushed. Let's make sure this one ends up where it belongs.

Sign now — because if Trump wants his name on infrastructure so badly, we know just the place.
