Legalize hemp-derived CBD in the state of Iowa

As it stands now, a person must have a debilitating medical condition in order to qualify for a medical cannabidiol (CBD) card through the Department of Public Health to legally use CBD products in the state of Iowa. In a majority of the other states, this simply isn't the case and you can purchase CBD products just about anywhere without having to have a medical card. CBD can help treat conditions ranging from anxiety to chronic pain and can even help patients whom are experiencing side effects from chemotherapy. The people of Iowa have every right to freely purchase CBD products without the hassle of having to jump through all the loopholes of obtaining a medical CBD card so I urge you to sign and share this petition.
