Stop Gas-killing of Stray Dogs in the Philippines

In the Philippines it is referred to as "Tambucho Killing", Tambucho refers to a Car Tailpipe, which is exactly what they use to kill these helpless stray dogs. Dogs are taken by the dog pounds all around the streets of the city then they place them in the dog pound crammed in cages that are all rusty and dirty. If within three days these dogs aren't claimed by anyone, the dogs are then killed. They are placed in gas boxes, which are cement boxes with just a small door and a hole for the tailpipe to enter. Within those three days, the dogs are starved.

It takes around 15 minutes for them to finally perish. 15 gruesome, long minutes to let them go to sleep. They call it euthanasia but it's actually not. The dogs wail and bark within that time, a sign that they are in pain, and euthanasia is supposed to mean peacefully going.

This is animal cruelty and it violates the Philippine Animal Welfare Act, making this issue something that the Philippine president must attend to. Animals are not meant to suffer just for the comfort of the people.
