Stop taking away from tanf clients

If social services program tanf is temporary assistance for needy families remember needy families they should give the client a decent amount they were giving me 375.00 a month to survive on the dropped it down to 96.00 a month to survive on when they stated in paper work they dropped it due to me working 25 hours a week for my mom at her motel taking out trash and answering phones. Really frustrating that anyone should have to try and survive on that amount a month raising a child and because they messed up giving me too much in their eyes now I have to pay it back 500+ dollars on a amount of only 96.00 a month how am I supposed to pay anything back? My caseworker stated it's not her department it's a different department that's eligibility and I have to call them and they are sending my ex paperwork showing I owe that much and he isn't married to me or the father of my child so there sending my information to the wrong person I was then told not her department I have to speak to child support yet it's tanf sending the paperwork. Really confusing to me but they shouldn't be able to take away from a needy families that's why there supposed to be helping families. Maybe if they could just leave it at what I was getting from the time I was pregnant the 375.00 to survive on it would help me out
