9/11 Memorial Park

Lyndhurst is a town at a crossroads. We can continue to build at the alarming rate we have seen over the past decade, or we can take a stand against over crowding and incessant traffic issues that plague our town.

Since 1889 Lincoln school has served the children of Lyndhurst well, but her time is now over. With this petition, we propose that the property that is currently occupied by the venerable Lincoln School, be turned into a passive park. We do not need more housing. We do not need more retail stores or office space. Any combination of these options is unacceptable and should be rejected by the powers that be. Other towns have very popular, safe parks in high traffic areas, so can we.
