Demand an End to Gun Violence, Now!

In the year 2018 alone there has already been eighteen school shootings. The controversial topic of gun control has recently become more prominent in the media due to a school shooting at a high school in Parkland Florida, that left seventeen people dead. The shooter was a man named Nikolas Cruz who was being investigated by the F.B.I., displayed hostile tendencies, and had serious mental illness. We need to put an end to the easy availability of firearms to every individual. Thorough background checks are necessary and people who are mentally ill should not have the right to purchase an assault rifle or any form of firearms. We need to put an end to these mass shootings and protect ourselves, our children, and America.
