WE NEED A NEW HOSPITAL UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT



  • New York State did not allow Long Beach Medical Center to re-open after Superstorm Sandy depriving us of hospital services without input or consent.

  • We have lost valuable properties and $100 million in earmarked FEMA funds to reopen a hospital.

  • Urgent Care and a Freestanding ER are NOT a substitute for a hospital. As we stand, our health and safety are at risk.

We, the undersigned, are asking our politicians to effectuate the reopening of a newly managed and rebuilt hospital in the City of Long Beach, NY
