Save Dovercourt Skating Rink

The recently restored Dovercourt Skating Rink, in Essex, is to be closed permanently. Much hard work and effort has been poured into the refurbishment and organisation of this leisure facility which is a feature of our seafront and part of our town's heritage. We are petitioning for it to be saved from closure, mainly for the sake of our children and future generations to come. Many of us skated on it as children ourselves and would be dismayed for our town to lose such an important area of recreational space, whatever the reason.
