Ask USDA to Ban Tiger Cub Swims and other Pay to Play Schemes

If you saw the cub swimming for his life to try and escape the pool where his captors were charging people $200 to "swim with tigers" then you know why USDA needs to ban this cruelty. Only weeks old he was screaming in between nearly drowning but whenever he broke free and got to the edge of the pool his owners threw him back in to keep the pay to play session profitable.

Cubs are purposely bred for pay to play sessions, ripped from their mothers at only a few days, or even hours old, and then forced to endure excessive handling at the hands of lines of ignorant patrons.  The Humane Society of the United States, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the World Wildlife Fund, Born Free and Big Cat Rescue are petitioning USDA to ban public contact with baby bears, non human primates and baby big cats.  Please add your voice to this petition by signing and sharing!

Public contact with cubs is inherently cruel and inhumane.  It is your job to enforce the Animal Welfare Act and public contact with cubs is clearly a violation of the handling and care regulations.  Please clarify your rules by banning public contact with all exotic cats, bears and non human primates, regardless of age.
