No More Horse Deaths -- Stop the Grand National Fox Hunt!

As you may know, a horse named Battlefront died on the first day of this year's Grand National meeting, despite significant alterations made to the Liverpool fox hunt course following the death of two horses last year. This marks the 23rd horse to die on the course since 2000.

Aintree authorities and the British Horse Racing Authority claimed that new safety measures, including the replacement of old fence frames, would make the course easier for the horses, and eliminate risk, but the event continues to put horses' lives at risk. In addition to Battlefront's death, several horses fell in the same fox hunt chase. 

We believe that the Grand National Fox Hunt has proven to be dangerous to horses, and recent improvements to the Liverpool course have not solved the problem. We respectfully urge you to put an end to this cruel tradition. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider our petition.
