Demand an end to the suffering of all animals slaughtered without stunning in the name of Religion

In 1933 the United Kindom brought in humane laws to stop the suffering of animals killed for food. Our Government has allowed religious organisations to ignore this because of their religious beliefs. Increasingly our country is being high jacked by minorities to carry out the cruel and painful slaughter of animals who feel pain and stress. USA say it is unconstitutional, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Northern Ireland ban the practice.  Slaughtering without stunning belongs to the Dark Ages and should play no part in the 21st century in a civilised society!
