Hartz Ultra Guard Flea and Tick Collars killed two of my family's precious fur babies and left chemical burns on another.
We bought Hartz Ultra Guard Flea and Tick Collars for our fur babies and wound up having to bury two of them way too soon and treating one for chemical burns from those collars.
Our babies were happy, healthy cats until they went downhill. The only common denominator between the two of them when they passed was the Hartz Ultra Guard Flea and Tick Collars that they both had on. We made it to the emergency vet with our 2 year old Ginger Cat only to have to have him euthanized. We didn't have time to make it anywhere with our 5 year old Tuxedo Cat and she passed in my arms. They passed within two weeks of each other.
After our second cat passed, my son did some research and found out that Hartz Products cause many health problems and even death to many animals, yet they still are selling their poisons.
Hartz needs to be stopped from selling ALL flea and tick products to protect other fur babies and their families from having to endure what my family has had to endure with the death of our babies.
