Stop Proliferation of Cell Phone Towers

Competing companies such as AT&T and Verizon work with schools, property owners, and state agencies to obtain permission to erect these unsightly and possibly dangerous towers within close proximity to one another.  At this time,  federal law does not allow those who object to prevail on health grounds; however, petitioners may appeal these unsightly towers on the basis of property value depreciation since they destroy our pristine environment.  Other options such as satellite should be explored and pursued to avoid NIMBY neighborhood polarization, property devaluation, and possible health risks.  Corporate greed and legislative laxity are destroying the beauty of our environment.
