"Demand that Caregivers, DSP'S, and CRMA's in Maine get Fair Wages"

As a DSP/CRMA Caregiver, I deal directly with people who can not care for themselves and I am their Support for atleast 8 hours a day. I pass out their Meds and Help with daily needs. It's not right that we deal with peoples lives and can not make a Decent wages. You have to work Overtime just to make a Decent wage. What I want is a wage high enough to live without working 60 hours or more a week. Average wage for my field $9.00 to $14.00 depending on Years of Experience. I have 4 years and only make $12.50. Should start at $12.00 to $18.00 depending on experience. Right! We Are Dealing With Peoples Lives. Thank you
