The culling of nearly 900 cows that were deemed unfit after spending more than 2 months at sea on a ship has begun in the Mediterranean port of Cartagena, Spain.

These cattle are being slaughtered after spending more than two months on board a ship in cramped and poor conditions. The animals were deemed fit and healthy when embarking on the journey, and yet both Turkey and Lybia refused to let these animals disembark due to suspicion surounding their health. Someones mistake has now led these poor creatures to be mass culled instead of saving their innocent lives and letting them live out a peaceful existence.
After returning from this long trip with no stops along the way, these animals have been deemed unfit to live and are being murdered as a result. The blame has been places on the animals, and not on the people who made these poor decitions. There was little to no chance these cows would pass the health checks on return to the Spanish Port, as a result of the 2 month journey and should not equate to their deaths!
