While flying the Ruddy Turnstone is very manycoloured. On the dark wings is white stripe and the tail is black'nwhite.

It's onshore the oceans and on the insular outer stony islands. Even it is much hiding it is at the same time very colourfull but the habitat is hiding it. Where it got the english name turnstone= it often turns stones while searching for food.

(When we speak about multicoloured cats they are called turtle figure) The stomy is white.

The male is brighter coloured like in birds usually are.
