Armed presence and other security measures in schools across America.

Mr. President and Governor Rick Perry of the state of Texas, in light of the tragic and brutal attack on the Sandy Hook Elementary school and on behalf of my own two children, one of which is in kindergarten, I am formally requesting an armed presence at every school nationwide from this point forward.

Whether it's an on-duty or off-duty police officer we need an armed person at or near our school grounds to protect our children. (Citizen's such as myself who have a concealed handgun license could obtain special training from a local police station and volunteer our time and/or recruit retired military)

Although it is every Americans' right to bear arms, which I truly believe in, we must be proactive and protect our children from those who are unstable. Metal detectors and bullet proof glass should be instituted as well.
