Demand that California unseal all adoption records and put an end to this unjust practice.

Having found out I was adopted 5 months ago( I am 67), it has been a psychological, emotional and frustrating roller coaster ride. Currently there are 3 states that are going down the legislative path to opening all adoption records. In this day and age unless there is a domestic violence issue, I believe that all adoptions should be opened at least by the adoptee's age of 18 or earlier. It is vitally important for health and genetic predisposition issues. More and more people are going to sites that offer DNA results and then are left to navigate uncharted water.
