This petition is for a Public Safety risk for Dayton Engstrom. We are asking Weber County Second District Court to take this petition in consideration for the sentencing Mr. Engstrom. Mr Engstrom is a risk to himself and others. Dayton has a long criminal history along with a past history of substance abuse. We the public feel if Mr Instagram is released from jail without any clean time, or treatment. That he will be a threat to himself and others. OnApril 2019 Mr engstrom overdosed 911 was called and upon arriving Mr Engstrom was given Narcan and was revived. Mr engstrom continued his drug abuse. Then on July 12th Mr Engstrom used with Melyssa Phelps. Miss Phelps overdosed and died. from a lethal injection of heroin provided by Mr. Mr enstrom. Melyssa had no history of drug abuse and no criminal background. Two overdoses in less than four months.
One resulting in death. we feel like if you was to release him the overdoses will be reoccurring. We are asking in this petition that Dayton receives no less then one year with substance abuse treatment, cognitive awareness treatment ,assisted medication program such as methadone a Vivitrol or Suboxone. Successful completion of adult probation and parole parenting classes due to the fact that Dayton has two juvenile children. At least one year clean . With the clean time and the treatment Mr engstrom we feel will no longer be a threat to himself and others. So please to take this into consideration so no one else gets hurt.
