Trump: Keep Funding Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs

Trump decided to cut funding for teen pregnancy and STI prevention programs across the country. This cut will devastate our country, create unwanted children, and rampant STI spread.

These are the kind of programs that even conservatives should appreciate because they decrease the need for abortion. Education is key in creating safe sex practices and many teens do not have a way to get accurate sex ed information. 

Not only is this funding used to directly educate teens, but it also funds research projects. These projects were given 5 year funding and these cuts will chop their time by 2 years. That means they won't even have scientifically valid info at the end of their research. This is extremely wasteful and foolish. If we don't have information about how health info is passed around, we can't do anything to help our communities stay healthy and take personal responsibility.
