Donald Trump is rushing us to war with Venezuela, and we need to stop him. There is no reason for it, they represent zero threat to us, and Trump's arguments for it seem to be based on ignorance and delusion.
Add your name, tell Trump America is opposed to this rush to war. And if he won't stop it, Congress needs to use the War Powers Act to stop it for him.
Trump has been blowing up boats without any proof of threat or wrongdoing, he sent forces into the area, and he openly been talking about an invasion.
This would be a disaster. Venezuela is a major producer and exporter of oil (and an OPEC nation), and an attack would likely send oil prices skyrocketing. It could also spark a refugee crisis throughout the region, spurring instability that could lead to other wars. And it could lead to thousands or tens of thousands of deaths.
No one wants this, and we shouldn't stand by and let it happen.
