San Diego, Los Angelos, Sacramento, and San Fransisco as some of the worst regions for Human Trafficking, impacting as many as thousands of victims each year! Statistics range from 57% forced Labor victims, 99.4% of Sex Trafficking victims, and that doesn't even touch the percentage of Drug Trafficking across our state.
Human trafficking violates the security in the place we call home, it robs us of our children's innocence, and breeds many cycles of abuse.
We need to break this cycle. THIS ENDS WITH US!
Human Trafficking is not the norm and should never become ours!
Human trafficking is an epidemic in California and in our world at large.
It's time to break the cycles of abuse and shed the light on this darkness.
I am requesting a neighborhood watch and education on human trafficking in our communities.
I am requesting signs put up around a our borders, inner city neighborhoods and coastal communities.
The purpose of these signs are listed in the following...
1. To let the perpetrators know we are a vigilant community.
2. "If you or someone you knows sees suspicious behavior or needs help, there will be number on the sign providing an anonymous hotline to call for support."
3. additionally, all signs will list behaviors to watch for and what to BEWARE.
We are purposing that each sign share information such as...
