The service is the only route that serves residents in Cunninghamhead, home to many elderly and retired people. Public Transport must be regulated to ensure vulnerable residents are not further isolated in their communities and are able to travel freely to visit friends, relatives, get to work and access services located in larger towns and communities.
Last year Drybridge residents were faced with a similar fears that the 21 bus route would be removed by Stagecoach. But the service was saved by SPT after a campaign by residents and politicians.
