Fire Three Cops Who Knelt on 17-yr-old Black Girl

114-pound, 17-yr-old, African American Shanita Minor was hanging out at the State Fair when three police officers accused her of loitering. But loitering, AKA standing around, is what one does at a State Fair. So Shanita protested. Then the three officers wrestled her to the ground and knelt on her. She has been served with a misdemeaner charge for resisting arrest, all because she she was hanging out at the State Fair while black.

Sign the petition to get the three officers who harrassed and physically hurt Shanita fired. 

As a Sacramento resident, I refuse to accept that our police department can do this kind of racial profiling and violence to a child without consequence. Shanita, a small teenaged girl, got a broken thumb and a concussion from the violence of three adult police officers. I am horrified at this incident and demand action against the police officers who harmed her.
