Call to District and RCMP to enforce Stop / Cross Walk and School Zone Speed Limits on Westway Avenue

Drivers on Westway Avenue are speeding in general, and in particular through School Zone areas, and not stopping at stop signs or observing cross walk, which has become a significant hazard for students going to the several schools along Westway.

We are requesting District of Squamish and RCMP to take immediate action to educate drivers and enforce speed limits, school zone and cross walks, and, alternatively, collecting names of neigbourhood residents willing to take direct action to assist in crossing duties and videotaping of offending drivers until these issues are addressed.
