NO to the Removal of Churches near Andrews Air Force Base

We, the signers of this petition, desire to support the County's efforts to provide adequate safeguards to the citizens of Prince George's County who live, work, play and pray on land near Andrews Airbase. We can support the County's legislative efforts only if the following amendment is made in the current version of CB-55-2014 that we have before us and that this amendment is carried throughout the spirit of the efforts of the Prince George's County government to introduce and implement a Military Installation Overlay Zone. On page 14 of the first draft of CB-55-2014, Sec. 27-548.56 Requirements for Safety (a) Prohibited Uses (1) The following uses are prohibited in the Safety Zone: DELETE IN ITS’ ENTIRETY Sub-paragraph (D) "Churches and similar places of worship with over 80 sanctuary seats".
