End College Legacy Privileges

Dear United States Colleges and Universities,

It is time for colleges and universities to end legacy privileges that allow a student admission to a college based upon a past family member attending that college.

Students should be granted admissions based upon merit not legacy privilege.

I do not believe in legacy privilege for college entrance.

I believe all students deserve the same opportunities as legacy students during the entrance process into college.

I believe legacy students should become accountable for their education by no longer resting on the laurels of their family.
